Loch Suardal

On the road between Dunvegan and Claigan is Loch Suardel, a fresh water loch, fed by Suardel Burn. The water is very shallow and has become overgrown with grasses. The borders of the loch are rich with wild flowers and cotton grasses that enjoy the boggy conditions. The water from Loch Suardel flows out to Loch Dunvegan.
