Fairy Glen

Today I headed to Fairy Glen near Uig with a view to following on with the idea I’ve had for a photography project about people coming to Skye to connect with the landscape. Fairy Glen is a natural landscape of conical hills with the large rock (known as Castle Ewen) dominating the scene. The chap in the photograph was from China and was visiting Scotland and Ireland at the start of his gap year. He had been walking miles in the far hills before getting to Fairy Glen.
